Welcome to my newsletter written by, of course, me! In the modern world, we receive plenty of emails on daily basis so I wanted to make sure that these emails you’ll be receiving next are high quality.
In 2020, while a global pandemic impacted the whole world, I plucked up my courage in sharing about my mental health journey. I didn’t know why I started sharing my story — perhaps I was finally brave enough. This journey of disordered eating behaviours, orthorexia, compulsive over-exercising has taught me so much about self love and appreciation. As I started to speak publicly about my experience, more women came forward with their own battles with body image, confidence and self-love. These brave and raw stories of theirs constantly remind me that I am not alone.
As these stories increase, Instagram was no longer enough to publish and discuss them. The creation of this newsletter will help to bring our stories to a much safer platform. My newsletter discusses some of my stories but most importantly, celebrates the women who were so brave to come forward with their stories. Newsletter is sent every Thursday at 8am Jakarta time.
